Window Vulture
Anyone who knows Arthur (or walks by the house) knows that he loves to look out the front window. Sometimes he lies facing out on the wide, flat arm of the sofa, but most of the time he sits in his chair with his muzzle on the sill, watching people walk by. The red towel is meant to protect against claw marks or inadvertent drooling.
A few years ago, we had to push the sofa away from the window and remove the chair altogether to prepare for some painting we were going to be doing. He got up on the arm, now maybe 8 or 9 feet away, and tried to look out, but it really wasn't the same. He wasn't too happy about it.
