I was going through my Arthur archive when I came across this piece of doggie noir. I didn't take the picture, so I don't know its context, but to me it's very cinematic: It's the last shot of a movie where the hero, after having uncovered the crucial piece of evidence that confirms his dire suspicions, gets knocked off by the mysterious stalker in the black sedan, and slides in defeat to the floor, hanging on by a single paw. Ack.
