Arthur is really afraid of thunder. Really, really afraid of thunder. Heavy rain is not his favorite, either. During a particularly bad winter storm a few months ago, he got so freaked out, he managed to unlatch the lock on his dog door, lift the panel up with his nose, and bolt outside. (He must have thought he was pretty clever until he realized that he couldn't do the same trick to get back in.) So now, if I have to leave the house and the weather's bad, I have to barricade his door so he can't slip outside.
Today's weather report: possible thunderstorms.
