Arthur may be a gentrified city dog with his expensive bed and homeopathic vitamins, but he does love a good hike. When we took him up to the Santa Paula mountains last fall, he was out in front the whole time leading the way. How nice to escape urban smog and exhaust and experience the fresh smells of nature: lots of oxygen and the occasional cow turd.
It was like a small piece of heaven.
