In my continued surf for all-things-dog, I came across the website of the Canyon View Ranch, which is some kind of crazy pet-fantasy boarding house in Topanga. It's the place where anxious, guilt-ridden dog owners take their beloved animals when they can't take them along on vacation but can't bear the thought of a cold, sterile, cage-free kennel. It's better than home, and for $50 a day, it's cheaper than Motel Six!
The photo I was most intrigued by on the site showed a big area with separated grassy platforms, winding walkways and bone-shaped pools. It was like a miniature-golf course, and I have to say, the dogs look pretty darn happy. Arthur would go beserk.
I can only imagine the photo opportunities.
