Most mornings, Arthur has to wait for my brother-in-law to have his breakfast and check his email before getting to go on a walk. This he does with great patience and minimal grumbling underneath the computer desk, sometimes with his head propped up on one of the spokes of the office chair. Although I worry about his doggie head being so close to the monster electrical outlet just inches away, he likes keeping a close eye on the dog walker, presumably so he doesn't escape.
The occasional lick on the ankle also helps to speed things up.
