The Leaving - Part II

After much ado, my sister and brother-in-law finally left for South America yesterday afternoon. Surprisingly, Arthur proved to be far more resilient than I'd anticipated, especially after the ball incident, and didn't shed a single tear. He was sad, of course, but not insanely so. Maybe because the packing that preceeded the leaving had been going on the whole week and he'd had some time to get used to the idea?

Anyway, my brother-in-law got more emotional about the whole thing than Arthur did. I think our boy believes his mom and dad will be coming back soon.
