Best Friends, that matriarch of animal rescuers, is holding their annual celebrity-guest-laden, activity-filled, thirst-quenching spring festival this Sunday, which gathers together over 60 California animal-rescue groups with over 1,000 adoptable dogs, cats and rabbits all ready for you to take home that very day! Well, actually, you'd probably have to have a home check first, but in theory, you could be a pet owner that very day! It's all very exciting, and, as the poster states, it's the largest pet-adoption event in California.
