Today's Rescue Event - East Valley Super Sale


East Valley shelter is still dangerously overcrowded (at 117 dogs as of this morning), but they're moving to a new facility and this Saturday, TODAY, they're having a VERY SPECIAL DOG SALE.

In a partnership with trainer Bobby Dorafshar, founder of New Leash On Life (a local dog rescue/rehabilitation organization), L.A. Animal Services is offering this package all day today:

For any dog adopted out of the East Valley shelter on May 19, New Leash On Life will:
  • Pay 50% of the adoption fee for any dog weighing 35 lbs or more (worth $45)
  • Provide a FREE six-week training course (worth $250),
  • Provide an advice hotline for adopters who have questions about their new pet
The remaining adoption fee ($91 for dogs under 35 lbs and $45.50 for dogs over 35 lbs) includes spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, vaccinations, and a license.

This is today only. Today. Saturday, May 19th.
