Just wanted to let you know that I adopted Tuna, now Luna, months ago from high-kill S. L.A. shelter. She is alive and well. I also adopted her kennelmate, Chiquilla, a very traumatized pit mix that gave birth at the shelter and was then going to be put down after her pups were adopted.
Hooray for Tuna (and Chiquilla)! That is great news.
