Gromit

God, I love Gromit. Next to Snoopy, he is my favorite fictional dog. How can you not love a dog that reads the morning paper? Plus, he has that gigantic black nose.

Anyway, this picture was taken at an animation festival in Portland (of one of the models that was used in the last Wallace and Gromit movie), but when I went looking for a plastic replica in London last March, I couldn't find a single one. Not one. Is Gromit not a national treasure? Is he not beloved in his own country?!!

Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I might have to score some Sculpey and make one of my own.
