Today's Rescue - Aurora

The Mutt Scouts have done it again! This sad, sweet girl is an 8-year-old chow chow named Aurora who, against all odds, has found her way out of the North Central shelter and into the care of those underdog (if you will) rescuers, my heroes, the The Mutt Scouts.

Aurora was dumped on the street by her owners, most likely because she has a big abcess/tumor on her bum. She was networked by the Scouts, who were then able to pull her out of the shelter, and now Aurora is safe from the euth needle and hopefully on her way to a full medical recovery. So far her blood work looks good.

But care doesn't come cheap, as we all know. Help the good guys. Make a donation to The Mutt Scouts this holiday and help Aurora have the life a good dog deserves to live.

You'll be so glad you did.
