Last night I came across the website of Oakland-based illustrator, Michael Wertz, who, among other things, maintains a separate photo site dedicated exclusively to his pit-mix rescue, Olive. This is my kind of guy. Apparently life with Olive has had its ups and down, but he is a man in love, and it's chronicled for all to see.
Incidentally, Michael Wertz also draws a dog-related picture a day and posts it on his professional website, Wertzateria. You can find them (he's currently up to 78), as well as his sketchbook under "Extras."
