This David Shrigley cartoon is for all those senior-dog-dumping people out there (who probably don't read this blog) who take their older dogs to the shelter when they get tired of them. There are so many sweet old guys (and girls) at L.A. Animal Services right now, and so many are owner surrenders.
Senior-dog-dumpers SUCK.

I hate senior dog dumpers too!!! In fact, I dedicate many posts to senior dogs at the shelter. SDs usually just sit there and rot unless rescue pulls them. Occasionally you get a wonderful person to adopt a SD but it is rare. It makes me so sad to see a 14 year old dog dumped at the shelter just waiting for his person to come get him.
