I just found this old photo of a 4-year-old me with a couple of beagle pups that had wandered into my family's yard without collars or tags. Double dog bonanza! It was a happy 24 fun-filled hours, which was how long it took before we could locate the owners, and you might guess by my strong-arm grip that I was pretty sad to see them go.
I still love me some pooches, but thankfully have lost the bowl haircut.
