I thought I was being so clever when I salvaged a couple of pine tree remnants from the Xmas tree lot a couple of weeks ago – my plan was to carve them out and make votive candle holders or some such thing. Ha! Never going to happen. I showed them to Arthur yesterday and he was wholly unimpressed. Actually, mocking would be the better word.
He knows me too well.
