Double Vision
My sister and brother-in-law had the great idea to put opaque film in the front windows instead of shutters, and had the even greater idea to cut out a silhouette of Arthur in the window he sits in front of all day. Like a permanent sentry, or a kinder, friendlier BEWARE OF DOG icon.
To accomplish this, I thought maybe they sat Arthur in front of a big piece of paper and projected his shadow onto it (like you do in grade school), but my sister actually drew the silhouette free hand on the window film and then cut it out. She's very crafty that way.
Anyway, now Arthur looks out the window through a silhouette of himself.
(I'm sure there's a metaphor in there somewhere.)
