Going Green

Now that the temperature in L.A. is rising, the greenish grass in the backyard is starting to turn brown. Or, I should say, the clover is turning into burrs. And in case you're a new reader to this blog, let me tell you that burrs and Arthur get along really well. REALLY WELL.

Although my sister and brother-in-law no longer water the lawn (with the drought and all), I got the okay to cultivate a small patch where Arthur might, in an ideal world, want to hang out instead of on the dry, dead sections. We'll see. I've been watering it for a week now, and so far it's still looking patchy, but I'm hopeful. Watering a patch of grass is a lot easier than picking burrs out of a bushy tail.
