Today's Rescue

There was a huge purge of dogs off the L.A. Animal Services web site yesterday - I hope that some of those can be attributed to adoptions, but I have a feeling it was not a happy day at the shelters. Let's push for the time when animals are not treated as commodities, and people are forced to take responsibility (and be accountable) for the animals in their care. Animals shelters aren't Goodwill drop-offs.
