Lovely Rita was adopted this weekend by a wonderful woman and her pit bull Rosie in Santa Clarita. Much Love Rescue drove the three hours north to do a home check, and apparently, it could not have gone better - Rita took to her new companions right away, and they were loving her right back. She now has a real home with a big backyard and an owner who will care for her properly. The woman called Rita "the best Mother's Day present ever."
Now that's a real dog lover.
