It seems that my visit to the West L.A. shelter on Sunday coincided with the shelter's weekly mobile adoption event in Culver City, and a lot of the dogs were gone for the afternoon. The ones that were left (always the pit bulls!) were pretty sad - they obviously knew they'd been left behind.
But don't forget about them! Such nice dogs.
