Eat From This

It's faux; it's fabulous; it's like nature, only much shinier. This crazy dog-food bowl was designed in 2006 by Brandon Warren, a then-senior at California College of the Arts, and is now manufactured by Turkish design studio Gaia & Gino and available at French uber-style emporium, Collette. Happy Graduation, indeed.

Here's how Gaia & Gino describes the bowl:
It reflects the paradox of the domesticated - nature evolved to fit into Man's environment. The formed glass embraces and smoothes the sculptural language of rock, and naturally indicates fill lines for food and water. It represents this synthesis of nature and function, tamed and refined, that makes the dog a domesticated animal.
In other words, if you want it, it's going to be very, very expensive.
