Millie is a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who was pulled out of the South L.A. shelter on Wednesday night by the good people of Much Love Rescue in Santa Monica. They ventured down to Crenshaw (as they often do) and found Millie in a pen with a slew of puppies, huddled in a corner, shaking.
Now Millie is in a foster home waiting to be adopted by some nice person who's willing to be patient with some of her shelter-induced behaviors (i.e. she can be a bit bitey if she feels threatened or uncomfortable), but with time and training (and a real home!), she'll be fine. Just look how sweet she is!
With the right owner, Millie will be a superstar. She looks like she should be doing television.
