Tongue Revelations

As I was lounging around procrastinating yesterday, I noticed that Arthur's tongue looks silky soft, kind of like a slice of Oscar Meyer bologna. It may feel like sandpaper, but it looks like sateen. Might as well be 300-count. The human tongue, on the other hand, is very pebbly - you can actually see all the taste buds. It's not smooth at all.

I realize that dogs generally have more highly developed senses than humans, but perhaps taste isn't one of them. I guess that's how they can eat things like dirt, and, you know, poop.

side note: Needless to say, I didn't get any work done yesterday.
